The directorial debut of LEGO stop-motion animator Chris Bakyaw is here. Inspiring and honoring the roots of “The Magic Portal”, one of the first ever brickfilms in history, “The Portal” is a dark and scientific twist of the original epic. Jake Hansen (Chris Hillebrandt), a CEO assistant of Polis Technologies, developed a portal that lets anyone travel across the multiverse. However, a CES presentation of the device goes horribly wrong, malfunctioning and awakening the Interferers, an evil alien race destined to ruin every universe imaginable.
